  • Darinka: A Performance Space, was founded in March of 1984 by Gary Ray Bugarchich in a Lower East Side appartment. It was a mecca for New York's burgeoning punk scene and featured many punk happenings, literary readings and musical performances.
  • For those interested in touring New York with an eye on early and famous spaces that TMBG has played in Darinka address is 118 East First Street, near Avenue A.
