From the desk of John Flansburgh:

"Hello everyone. Hope you all had an excellent summer. We're back on the road and back in the studio this month.

They Might Be Giants are embarking on a noble experiment. In New York City at the end of every month we're performing at a brand new and very exciting performance space called (le) Poisson Rouge (we didn't invent the parenthesis part of the name, but we do find it intriguing). The series of shows is informally titled They Might Be Giants' Rent Party for obvious reasons. Each show will be pretty different from each other, and we have some big plans for making this run extra interesting for the recidivists. We have enlisted the horn section for the first show, which keeps everyone else in the band on their toes.

We hope to see the New York delegation out in force to the first one, and if the more far flung members of the TMBG crew are coming to NYC, you'll know where you'll find us!

Thanks for your support!
