Space alien[edit]

I guess ths song is about a Space Alien who tries to go into the theater but keeps having problems getting inside. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 03:37, March 17, 2006

Secret rock show[edit]

When I hear "secret rock show," I get an image of one of those rock shows where you have to win tickets by being the 20th caller to a radio station. If that is the case, the thing I think is interesting is that the reasons the singer can't go to the show has nothing to do with the fact that the show is a secret. All the reasons are just arbitrary and the final part makes it seem as though the singer is overqualified in everything but yet he still can't get into the show. It's almost like the song is parodying the whole concept of a show that everyone knows is going on but only a select few can get into. --JiuNoon 13:32, 19 May 2006 (CDT)

Making sense[edit]

Y'know, the fact that Linnell promises after the first verse that the song will make sense as they go on always cracks me up. Since when has he been concerned about how much sense a song makes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 13:00, June 14, 2006

Far away show[edit]

This song reminds me of the many times you see a band you want to see in concert but always play far away. So you check blogs, but get mad at people saying how awsome it was. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 14:44, August 3, 2007

The way you put it, this song really relates to my case right now. I really want to go see TMBG at the Recher Theatre on March 12th, sadly, I don't live in Maryland. The venue song is one of my favorites, next to Leeds, I'd really like to hear it live sometime. -- Jason DeLima - ! - 01:46, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Traffic circle[edit]

"As you navigate the rotary/On your way to park your car by the theater" likely refers to the literal traffic circle/roundabout/rotary/massive pain in downtown Towson. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wearingaraincoat (talkcontribs) 8:52, March 25, 2016
