I'm being way too nerdy right now, but the Girlie Action 1400px version of the cover photo is cropped differently than the iTunes version, and shows a bit more of the green bush on the left side and has a wider black bar on the right. The image's proportions are also wider than the iTunes version; it's about 50px wider than it is tall (equivalent to 21px wider on 600x600, iTunes image size), as opposed to iTunes art which has a 1:1 aspect ratio. Scans never offer the quality of the original digital. Wouldn't it be much easier to just black out the text in the huge version? Though I suppose, as said above, the huge digital version has a different aspect ratio than 1:1. What is the ratio of the cover? Wait- why am I asking? ... OK, just measured the cover and it seems to just be the proportions of the one from Girlie Action. iTunes just has this thing about making covers square, I guess. From the entry on The Else (it's in the Trivia section): "The phrase is Spanish for 'They avail themselves'. It refers to the painting of the same name (Se aprovechan) by Francisco Goya depicting soldiers literally 'availing themselves' of possessions from dead bodies." Thank you so much! (I ran it through Babelfish and it said "They take advantage of", which made a lot less sense...though, being the immature teenager I am, it inspired me to run "se aprovechan tu madre" through it... :P) Actually, I had assumed at first that it was French. I asked a friend of mine who knows a fair bit of French, however, and she said it didn't follow the "rules" of the language, so to speak. ~Anna Ng (postin' from school)
