Trivia/Info

The ad, created for Diet Dr Pepper, is a take-off on the old CHiPs TV show with chimpanzees on the bikes instead of cops, and original CHiP Erik Estrada the one being pulled over.
Some animal rights activists were angry about the "abuse" of the chimps in this commercial.
The ad won 'best of the month' award by the industry rag AdWeek in Feb 2002; the band was credited.
