Description
Olive, The Other Reindeer was a limited-edition flexi disc, released only as an accompaniment to promotional copies of the 1997 childrens' book of the same name by J. Otto Seibold, who had previously collaborated with They Might Be Giants, and Vivian Walsh.[1] The single has the distinction of being the only TMBG-related release on the unusual six-inch disc format. It includes only one song, performed by John Linnell (under the pseudonym "Johnny Hart"), and written by "Hart" and Walsh.

Trivia
- A male deer is also known as a hart. This is probably what "Johnny"'s name is derived from.
