Johnny Hart was a pseudonym adopted by John Linnell for the flexi-disc release of the song "Olive, The Other Reindeer". The word "hart" refers to a mature male deer. And whether or not Linnell knew this when forming the name, Johnny Hart is also the name of the late creator of the famous comic strip B.C.
