Interpretations:E Eats Everything
From This Might Be A Wiki
A song that teaches the alphabet while stressing the fact that the words "eats" and "everything" start with the letter E.
It's pretty obvious that the only lyric that doesn't rhyme, Soda, alludes to "Coke" as Coke would rhyme with "smoke".
- I think that it's soda because Coke is a brand of soda, and TMBG didn't wnt to pay the Coca Cola company every time he sings the word "coke".
- I seriously doubt that. TMBG don't have to pay royalties to Proctor & Gambill for AKA Driver containing 'NyQuill', so why would they have to pay royalties for 'Coke'? It's far more likely that it was a combination of TMBG's love of non-rhyming lines, the fact that this is a kid's song and thus they may have felt bad about advertising a singular brand, and probably because it means kids would drink less lemonade. Kids should enjoy all soda-related beverages. That, and it makes the line funnier. --MooseBlaster 11:32, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Or, maybe because Coke doesn't start with a K! Kolrad 05:09, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

I believe that Z's may possibly be munching down Ecstasy. Why? Z is usually seen as a relatively lazy and dormant letter. Perhaps Z needed a 'pick-me-up' in the morning.... your call :D --MooseBlaster 11:32, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
In a kids' song? --Jnelson09 00:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
