Talk:Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme
From This Might Be A Wiki
"They Might Be Giants have created the new theme song for "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" on the Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney. They've also recorded a song called "Hot Dog" that will be featured in each episode as well, which begin in May." - [1] -CapitalQ ♫ talk ♪ 23:21, 13 Apr 2006 (CDT)
- Ah.. Sorry. That one was obviously on me. The other article wasn't as clear. Good catch! --badqueso 23:35, 13 Apr 2006 (CDT)
Spanish Version?
I haven't seen it, but according to my kids, during commercial breaks, Playhouse Disney has been playing Spanish versions of its theme songs (like 'My Friends Tigger And Pooh'). Has anyone heard a Spanish version of this song on Playhouse Disney? If so, was it sung by Flansburgh, or did they dub someone else over the instrumental? --Duke33 16:42, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, here in Austria we have a German overdub, not done by anyone TMBG. I assume the same applies for all foreign-tongued versions of the series, based on my knowledge of the Johns' knowledge of languages. - Whirrrlwind (Woosh!) 19:00, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- The difference though is that the Spanish version of these theme songs aren't used on a Spanish-version of these shows. It's merely used during commercial breaks to teach English-speaking children how to speak/sing Spanish. --Duke33 19:32, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- Interesting.
- On a side note, the German version of Higglytown Heroes started last week, sporting a German variation of the title track. It's awful and makes me weep. - Whirrrlwind (Woosh!) 22:14, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
