Trivia/Info

  • In his introduction to the song, Linnell claims that the song was originally inspired by Mozart's opera Don Giovanni, in which the title character is dragged into the fire of Hell by a prophetic and anthropomorphic statue, but that he did not know that at the time he wrote the song.
