Talk:Vestibule
Hey, this song grew on me a lot. It's also scary, when Linnell is going "locked...locked..locked" Whut duzz peeps 'dink a 'dis toon?
- I really like this song. It's great, and catchy, too. Kind of a strange song to release right before Christmas, but there's TMBG for ya.
This sounds like it could make a good opener for the next album. Why isn't it mentioned on the "Mysterious Next Album" page?
- From a newsletter: "Vestibule TMBG's Holiday gift - not on the new album and only available here - until the next podcast!" but I agree with you, I think it would be great on the new album. ~ magbatz

Sounds like[edit]
Reminds me a lot of West Virginia - the overall tone, the strange vocals, the interesting rhyme (vestibule/best to you). Anyone else think so? -J2
- Yes! That was the first thing I thought of when I first heard the first line of the song. Glad to know I'm not crazy. :) --Salt-Man Z 08:08, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, man. Maybe that's why I like this song so much. West Virginia is one of my favorite state songs. As for "the strange vocals," maybe, as fans, we'll never be used to Linnell singing in such a smooth way. --Overjoy 13:14, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Wating for the robotic orchestra version[edit]
In the next podcast maybe, but that thing should be released in some listening format that's less crappy than Youtube. --~~
Different versions[edit]
The version from the podcasts sounds different than the one on CYPW. Shouldn't they have different entries?
- No, because it's still the same version. It's just that the quality is higher on CD than on the podcast, so it makes it sound different. Akagi 01:03, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
Very very late here, but I just noticed this as well. The bridge (about 48 seconds in) is definitely different, at least enough that I noticed it listening casually. TheSkullHead (talk) 22:20, 19 January 2014 (EST)
Senator Arlen Specter[edit]
Apparently he was waiting in his car until TMBG made a song with him in it, so he decided to become a Democrat. Or it was so he could get re-elected. Amish Gramish 08:59, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Reminds me of The Zombies[edit]
The vocals lack the Beatles/Hollies-like harmony that The Zombies often had, but the odd organ parts of the song sound exactly like something The Zombies would do.
