Talk:Trap Door

From This Might Be A Wiki

The newsletter description makes it sound like it was done live, but Flans is accompanying himself, so...

I am just really mystified by this song's very existence.--Afterward 05:34, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

No no, that's not two Flanses. The other voice sounds like Jed Parish from Agent Double-O-Soul (see/hear: Loser's Lounge peeps). Jed or not, it's definitely someone else. --Luke 20:36, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
When Podcast 31A came out, I listened about a gazillion times to figure out who the second voice was. And I think it is two Flanses. Listen to the first "And we're gonna find it." ~ magbatz 20:51, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Well heck, I think you're right, you two. Maybe "a song from some one night thing" doesn't mean live. Just means they recorded it some night. When bored? And drunk? >_> --Luke 01:04, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Thinking about it more, it seems most likely that it was perhaps improvised on or near a stage (The lyrics make it sound like on-stage antics, don't they?), then tweaked/recorded later. There is a bit of an echo to the sound, but I don't have the know-how to tell if this means it was really done in a big room or if it's an added effect.--Afterward 04:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
Maybe a soundcheck or just hanging out on a stage, though I do doubt I live show. At the very least, the audience would be all over the end, if not cheering nonsensically to the middle. :b --Luke 06:10, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
