Official Name Change?[edit]

Since most of the pictures on the current site depict the Letters "TMB" in large font, with the "G" being either small or lower case; Should we rename it TMBg.com? It would mean we could take off that annoying "Wrong title" box. --deathgecko (Evil Emperor of Lizards) 00:31, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Typically the capitalization in an image isn't always relevant to the capitalization of the actual title (see this website's logo for an example), especially when the last letter of every word in the site's images are smaller/lowercase. Besides, don't you think TMBg.com as a page title would be more annoying than Tmbg.com? -CapitalQtalk ♪ 01:30, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Who Are The Presidents?[edit]

Who are the four Presidents on the Old site?

I feel like a moron asking this, but its Lincoln, FDR, Nixon and Who is the fourth? I thought it was Teddy Roosevelt, but I've heard people ask me if it's Taft (I have the shirt with the presidents on it and Carter on the back). Thanks Motor.on 01:43, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

'Tis Taft, alright. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 02:08, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

Holy crap![edit]

I just visited the pre-2000 site via the Wayback Machine and I must say it blows away all their current sites. Chock-full of pictures, stories from the road, lyrics, Jamie Kitman essays, and more. Should stuff like the Kitman pieces and Flansy's advice for guitarists get moved to the wiki for preservation? Mucket 05:23, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

We have some of their stuff here and here. Are there other pages that you found, that we haven't brought over? --Duke33 13:09, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

At http://web.archive.org/web/20000301201547/www.tmbg.com/quantity/coffin.html is some advice from Flans on playing guitar on tour which I haven't found anywhere on the wiki. It appears to date from 1997. Mucket 04:19, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I think that should go up. Also, is it worthwhile to put up the J&J Q&A on the new(er) website ([1])? ~ magbatz 17:59, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

2000 to 2005 Site still up?[edit]

I was bored and on the site when all of a sudden I was at the president flash site from 2000 to 2005. I don't remember how i got there but everything still worked except the chat. ~ Tedadore2

That's at http://www.tmbg.com/froMain.html, in case you're still looking to get there again. ~ magbatz 02:49, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! I love those QCam things! Tedadore2

The current image that comes up when you load the page is not the (temporary) design, but a banner about and linking to upcoming shows. The (temporary) design is still used through out the rest of the site, however. Maybe there is a place for am image of the banner somewhere. I uploaded it. Though it is not am image of the whole page layout, jut the banner. I suppose one could get the whole page image as well. :Lpr banner.png

I guess it is actually a link to theymightbegiants.com when you type in tmbg.com, so I am not really sure if the image goes anywhere. Krueger 17:18, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
