I have a list of all the songs that were played, but they're not in the correct order. Can someone help me sort them out if I post them? ~bowser724 13:38, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

Sure, go ahead and post them. Having a setlist in the incorrect order is better than having no setlist at all. -Nosaj56 16:58, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

response to bowser's review[edit]

I've been to four full TMBG shows and compared to the other three, this was certainly and undeniably the blandest. They pretty much just did their set, made a few jokes and got out of there.

At the first show I went to in 2001 they:

  • did the dial-a-drum-solo during she's actual size,
  • attempted to do spin-the-dial (but the radio broke),
  • did shoehorn with teeth with the glockenspiel,
  • made everybody snap their fingers to lie still little bottle while Flans used the bamboo pole,
  • did the improv interactive solo after spy,
  • had horns!

All in one show! They only played a few things from Mink Car and threw in lots of great quirky and fun stuff. THAT's what a TMBG show should be. You said they didn't play too much off of The Else at this show. They played 8 out of the 13 songs on the album! I know they're supposed to be supporting their new album but that doesn't necessarily mean playing nearly the entire thing every night.

I saw the Flaming Lips play a couple of weeks before the TMBG show, and I was surprised at how much better the Lips show was than TMBG. There was no contest, the Lips just blew them out of the water! This show was good but it could have been much more than it was. It shouldn't have been that easy for the Lips to put on a better show than They Might Be Giants.
