Talk:Poetry

From This Might Be A Wiki

We need to add some more references on this page, or else I'd vote that we should delete it. It's relatively new, so I'll give it a while, so that people can add more refs. --Duke33 20:03, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

I think we should rename this "Poems" and then, you know, add refrences to poems, mention of (the word) poetry... etc. Kinda like the Backwards page is. --Lemita 21:03, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Or it could just be deleted now...what is "This is the Church", and how does Tour contain a reference to it? Preliminary Googling shows nothing. -CapitalQtalk ♪ 21:29, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
"This is the Church" is referring to that rhyme kids do with their hands, though it's probably not the actual name of it. "This is the church, this is the steeple, open the doors and see all the people." The End Of The Tour reference is "This was the vehicle, these were the people, you opened the door and expelled all the people." I agree with Lemita that this should just be "Poems" if we end up keeping it. The first two other songs that come to my mind are Robert Lowell and I Should Be Allowed To Think, but I think we'd need a few more to keep it. --badqueso 21:55, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
I agree with Lemita too. Would we then take off anything about poems under the trivia section for those songs?--Valerie 23:14, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
