A very Good Song[edit]
Firstly, it's got a great riff and Linnell's terrible English accent! But what a song. Great, great lyrics and an accurate portrayal of how bands rip each other off. Wasn't it Bowie who said that the one that did it second had the success (I always felt this about Nirvana - who were always a poor mans Pixies in my eyes). With the classic addictiveness that Giants music has at it's best (where you want, no need to play it again and again) if I were to compile my best 20 Giants songs of the last ten years this would be on the list. It's also got a very subtle irony, as the Giants are a band that no one would ever copy, given their distinct lack of commercial success! (Mr Tuck)
