The first night, Dec 26 at Irving Plaza with They Might Be Giants' Other Thing, is a guaranteed exceptional evening of entertainment featuring the all-brass onslaught of Rojas, Levine and Pender (they're not just lawyers anymore). The following night, the Band of Dans along with John and John deliver a reliable song selection at bone-crushing volume. The Baltimore (12/28, Recher Theatre) and DC (12/30, 9:30 Club) shows will be no less of a total celebration of love, national fear, and fellowship. Let's all make 2004 half as strange as 2003!
