Lyrics Talk:Chainsaw Dick

These were originally the best lyrics I could come up with after about three hours of repeated listening to the bootleg. The references to Kentucky are a little confusing, since the musical takes place in the mountains of New York. Some real nice corrections have been made since I first posted the lyrics. I might agree with you if the line said 'groceries,' I can't see it saying that. 'The beavers' also makes more sense in context, describing specific animals and their roles in his lifestyle. Also, think of what he does; he carves wood like beavers do. The line probably says something along the line of them doing the same thing that he does or them being contemporaries or something.
