One of my favourite early songs
Very clever lyrics and a great tune. Lo Fi, before it was a fashion, I've often wondered why they never did a version for the first or second album as it's a better song than say Number 3 or Pencil Rain. I've always thought this a Flans song, but it turns out it's an early Linnell song. Who knew? I love the unorthodox arrangement of the stop start melody. Pushing 30 years old I guess? (Mr Tuck)
