Hy Zaret (lyrics) and Lou Singer (music) wrote "A Shooting Star Is Not A Star" and "Why Does The Sun Shine?". Both songs were released on Space Songs (Motivation Records (Argosy) MR 0312; 1959), on which they're performed by Tom Glazer and Dottie Evans. Zaret was best known for writing the words to "Unchained Melody".
