Trivia/Info
- This demo is vastly different to the final album recording released on They Might Be Giants. It only includes the song's choruses and the bridge, and contains alternate, slower instrumentation using only synthesizers and BOSS Dr. Rhythm drum machine backing.
- Flansburgh: "It's a very, very short almost like a sketch of the song. There's something about singing a song for the first time. The way John sang the melody was very pure, direct and fresh. It's difficult to fake freshness... you can't get your virginity back." (ICE Newsletter, 1996)
- The mix of this demo released on the 1985 Demo Tape removes the drum machine intro, reducing the runtime to 1:06.
- On the "TMB Songs" list from 1985, this song is referred to as "Don't Let's Start, I've Got A Weak Heart".
