The Announcements were a series of spoken-word segments, hosted by John Flansburgh, found on TMBG's Clock Radio service. The titles mostly reflected the tracks' filenames, as they were all listed as "ANNOUNCEMENT" in the Clock Radio interface. Most consisted of plugs for the service, though some mentioned other projects the band has worked on.
