This was an AIDS benefit show. Dixon Place would hold an AIDS benefit show on the last Sunday of every month, each show with a different performer.[1] They Might Be Giants likely played one of these benefits in late 1987, and it's probable that this show is another in the series. The entry fee was an $8 donation, and the show was billed as an "all acoustic set".
