Interpretations Talk:Sally Boy Candy Bar

So I'm having a hard time coming up with an interpretation without knowing the main question, which is, is this a song that's from a "non-TMBG character" first person point of view, sort of like "Can't keep Johnny Down" -- maybe even the same character, or his cousin or something, or if the narrator's pretty close to one or both of the Johns in perspective. I suspect the former, but don't know. It'd make more sense somehow.
