Demo, alternate take, or alternate mix?

I think the version I have might be the one being described by this article - I'm not sure. Unfortunately, I only have the first 28 seconds. It seems to be the same take as the LTW version, but a different mix. The keyboard and bass are in the left channel, guitar is in the right, and Flans is in the center (as opposed to right on LTW version), with no echo on his vocals.

How many Edith Head demos are there?

This is apparently a pre-existing page, but I had never heard any demos of this song prior to Podcast 50. The one from the podcast definitely has a demo-y sound to it from the rougher vocals & stripped-down instrumentation, but can somebody explain what other version of this song caused this page to be created in the first place? -J-Gatz 16:01, 3 April 2012 (EDT)
