Freedy Johnston is a singer-songwriter who frequently opened for They Might Be Giants at shows in 1992 and released a recording for the Hello CD Of The Month Club. He has contributed songs to many compilations that also feature TMBG: A Testimonial Dinner: The Songs Of XTC, Time For A Change, The Season's Best, REV 105 Radio Archive, Volume 1, and Good Noise - A Sampler Of New Music From Elektra. He was managed by Marjorie Galen, and signed to Bar/None in his early years, and later Elektra.
