what does it mean?

what does 'taking it to the bridge' mean? i have heard alot of people saying it,does it have a meaning?

It refers to the musical bridge, when a song's structure shifts in order to give it a bit variation. Usually the bridge is introduced near the end of a song but here, they start right out announcing it (and do, in fact, plunge into it afterwards), which I find to be funny. - Whirrrlwind (Woosh!) 08:15, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
