:::I'm not sure why, but that happened when we upgrade to 1.4.7 (i believe). You have to go to the "S" page, to get the solo projects sub-cat to show up. I don't know if it's a bug or a feature, so when we upgrade to 1.5, we'll see what happens. + | ::::That's how mediawiki handles subcategories. To get it to show them on the front page, you need <nowiki>[[Category talk:Songs| ]]</nowiki> instead of <nowiki>[[Category talk:Songs]]</nowiki> on the category pages - but then it won't show up under S. It might make sense to have Songs (Solo Projects) as <nowiki>[[Category talk:Songs|Solo Projects]], which will still be under S, but it'll be there for the right reason :-) ~~~~</nowiki> |

This new organization seems somewhat cumbersome. What if we were to make each of the letters its own sub-category of the Category:Songs ? Does anybody else besides me have an issue with navigating to songs at the far end of the alphabet? -BigJohn
- Check out the new nav that i added (yes, it is ugly. I will add it to the interwiki links later, so that it removes the "external link" graphic.) Does that help things?? --Duke33 14:07, 11 Nov 2005 (EST)
- That's pretty much exactly what I was envisioning, Duke of Perl! -BigJohn
- Hmm. Now the Songs (Solo Projects) page (I can't figure out how to show its link here) isn't navigable from this page like it used to be. It's a separate category, but you can only get to it by looking at the master Category list or looking at songs you find through search. Any suggestions? -BigJohn
