you left me a message on my user page so. First off all i play a kids accordion, but anyway. Getting started may take some time but trust me when you start playing the famous polka it would have been worth it, so i first advise you to get use to all of the buttons, now depending on what kind of song you want a play, remembering buttons will help you find a medley (i hope i'm making sense) So as soon as you pick up on one song start playing it over and over it could be part of a song like a verse or even just a couple seconds, just keep listening to that song and keep trying to do it, you'll get it. Now if you want to create music you have to have some creativity (sp?) so you might need a piece of paper, right down notes, and if you don't know all notes right down something like key number and if your going in or out (cause thats how i learned it) and i hope you pick up on the accordion very early. I've have mine for 5 months and i play like a pro! -- Hope you understand Goodtimes2

Yes! Descending A major scale on the xylophone (or is it marimba?). <3 What I meant was that I had all these favorite TMBG and non-TMBG songs and decided to try to play on the guitar and piano to see what key they were in, and they ended up in D major. So like, my musical ear has a tendency to enjoy D major. So D's my all around favorite key, but I like songs in other keys. I have a thing for E and A too. Maybe I have a sharp-key signature bias because my primary instrument is the sax. :P --Lemita 21:03, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
