Yeah, I friended you on LJ, because you were so funny. Especially that you declared that you'd listen to Flansburgh-only songs on, ironically and unknowingly, Linnell's birthday. That was hysterical 'cause I did something similar on the same day. "Wait! It's June 12th! Why am I listening to Flans only?" But, much love to him, the next day, June 13th, was All-Flans Day for me. Oh, pish-posh. Fret not, Lemmy, the Limerent For Linnell group is not worth having second thoughts over. They're quite nice people, and they won't bite your head off, even if your feelings for Linnell aren't quite as strong. Mine aren't, and I can still post there and thrive there as a Linnell-girl, without having sexual feelings. But it is a normal community. Relatively. - Overjoy
Pardon my butting in - you're right, the air is pretty spooky over there at linnell_girls sometimes, but as a mental fan of Mr. Linnell, not a craver of his body, I can also confirm the part about the fans there being welcoming anyway.

Hey, the download link for Turtle Songs Of North America works. The Quicktime thing is the program booting up to allow you to play the song. If you're in Firefox, you can go to File> Save, but if you're in Intenet Explorer, on the download page, right click and save it that way. -Ecks

You should really go out and buy some TMBG albums instead of just downloading random songs...you can't get a full feel for a lot of their songs without listening to the album as a whole, like the songs were meant to be heard. Plus, by not getting albums you're missing out on dozens of gems you might never discover, and you'll never get that warm feeling of ownership you get when you've got a real CD in your hands. The Johns and everyone else release music as an album instead of just individual songs now and then for a reason, you know. Just sayin'. :) -CapitalQ / @ / 20:51, 23 Apr 2006 (CDT)

If you go to user created and scroll down to "T" it should be there.. it's prety cool.. usually CapitalQ is in there. Frig, I can't even remember what that interview is about... oh.. 21 questions. I can't remember if it's good.. but it's short, so it wouldn't kill you to check it out. Sorry it took me a few days to respond... I'm going to assume it is, so thank you. :D Yup, I met John. And it was the best day of my life! I don't think he's quite as shy as people think. A lot of people seem to have the impression he has fan-phobia, or he hates the fans or something. After meeting him, i'm positive neither of the above are true. He was still pretty shy, though. He was quiet and didn't have a lot to say, and also seemed a tad awkward, but he was very polite, and acted like it was no hassle at all to pose for a few pictures. He also seemed surprised but amused that I had driven 5 hours to see 2 shows in a row. :D -Ganna

He really is, I believe. The driving 5 hours, also, isn't actually as crazy as it sounds. The first concert was in Cleveland, where my family was on vacation, and going to the second concert only added about 3 hours drive time to the journey home. So I guess it's still kind of crazy, but TMBG is worth it. :D --Ganna
Well, my dad was already a kind-of fan. And by 'kind-of fan', I mean that he likes Them ok. He's mostly just a fan of rock music, and will go to see most any rock band. My mom thought that They were weird, and was sad that They didn't play She's An Angel, because that's the only song by Them that she can remember. My sister claims to hate Them, but I think she actually likes Them and won't admit it because her goal in life is to bug me, haha. --Ana 21:19, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
