I'm Joey, but on the internet I'm known as j2. Hello.
I'm sixteen and live in New York. I've been a fan for about three years, though I've been one subconciously since I was like four and my parents played Flood for me.
I play keyboard, accordion, melodica, and glockenspiel (badly). I'd like to learn to play other things, though. (A long, boring list was here. Now there's parenthesis.) I guess sometimes I enjoy writing songs? They're usually short, repetitive, and badly-recorded, but I guess it's cool IF YOU'RE INTO THAT KIND OF THING. Not that you would be, though.
Good bands that aren't TMBG include 7 Seconds of Love, The Apples in Stereo, The Aquabats, The B-52s, Barenaked Ladies,Ben Folds and his Five,Blue Man Group, cattleboxer?, The Champagne, Chris Babson, Chris Murphy (not the one from Australian Idol), Corn Mo, Daft Punk, Dan Costello (no relation to Declan), Devo, dj BC, Dream Theater, Elvis Costello, Evangelicals, The Features, Flan F, The Flashbulb (and Benn's other projects), Fountains of Wayne, Funki Porcini, G. Love b/w Special Sauce, Group X, Ill Mitch, Imperfect, Jello Taxi, John Scofield, Kraftwerk, Lemon Demon, Lenlow, Madness, Maroon 5, Mono Puff, Moxy Früvous, No Shoes Apply, The Pogues, Radio Noise, Self, Sinister Dexter, Smash Mouth, The Spins, The Spinto Band, TV's Kyle, and The Vandals. Not all of them are very TMBG-like, as my tastes tend to be all over the place, but they are good and you should probably check them out.
I do not have much to trade, but if you want to, I will probably trade. I could probably ask one of my hosts to set up another FTP especially for trading, since one of thems is a TMBG fan too. But as for things I have to trade (most of which I got from torrents, but some are from a trade), here's a list. Also these shows are in mp3 format because flacs are huge and I do not like them. They are all fully tagged, and do not come with the .txt files because I apparantly deleted most of them. SORRY ABOUT THAT.

WARNING: Recently, I've been inactive due to other things happening. I'm still usually on the internet, though, so if you want a show and I don't respond to my message page, use one of those other ways down there.
My prize possession is a DVD recorded of the DirecTV Freeview show. It was just 'okay, cool' for me, but apparantly nobody recorded it and I'm awesome for that? It's good quality, but two and a half gigabytes, and after putting nosaj56 through that several times, I think we're both ready to set fire to the internet. If you want it, I could probably get it to you, but.. two and a half gigs, man. And I'd like to release it freely like all those tapings on that big list with the years and the links, but it's huge. I AM SORRY PEOPLE BUT YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT.
You can contact me at my email, hit me up on AIM at RVGLJJ, or yell at me on MSN at j2n4me_es@animail.com. I've also got a talk page, and if you have a deviantART account, you can often find me in #caffeinelounge on dAmn under the name j2n4me.
I've also a deviantART account, a blog, a museum, a number of unfinished sites, and some other useless internet things. At Christmas, I have an internet radio show titled holiday48. They are all pretty fun to maintain.
You are a pretty awesome person for reading all that.
Yeah, I gave in.
