Alot of my musical taste are based around what my parent's listened to in the early years, like Kiss, New Edition, Prince. When I was a lil' squirt, I watched Malcolm in The Middle and heard it's theme song. I found it very entertaining and it got stuck in my mind for years. Later, when I was about seven, my brother was watching Playhouse Disney when a video entitled "Alphabet Shapes" came on. The song was odd and whismical. I thought to myself "Wow, there should be more music like that". Years later (after experimenting with Emo, Hip Hop, stuff like that), I became a Weird Al fan and went to his message board alot. There, not all people said Weird Al was their favorite band. Some had this oddly (and appropriately) named band. So that year I found this video on Google from a site called Mestephen.com. I thought it was funny, so I went to the website and became a regular on those boards. The site owner posted this image on the boards if a worm in a doctor's outfit with the caption "They Call Me". I praised him for his use of puns to reference the band Kiss (Calling Dr. Love) I was quickly shot down for not knowing the song. I looked it up on iTunes but couldn't find it. I asked a member for it and he gave it to me. I listened and quickly marked it as unentertaining. But as the days rolled by, I felt these odd urges to play it again. So, I did. I played it alot. And I soon wanted more. I asked him for a sample of songs, to which I was given Don't Let's Start, Ana Ng, Your Racist Friend (I think I had seen it's name somewheres and thought it would've been funny), I Should Be Allowed To Think and Particle Man. I got Severe Tire Damage for my birthday that year and was a fan ever since.
