My expousre to TMBG probably came about the same as a lot of other peoples': the theme song to Malcom in the Middle, Boss of Me. I do remember picking up the soundtrack, and listening to that and Older. But I didn't really pay the band much thought until I heard Experimental Film on Homestar Runner and bought The Spine at your typical Barnes and Noble overpricing. It, like Beck's Guero, took a while to grow on me, and now I can listen to the entire album front to back (well, maybe skipping The World Before Later On).

I'm also a webcomic artist and gamer, probably being one of the few people to have TMBG on my Xbox 360 hard drive.

Also, I apparently have the same taste in root beer as Flans (though, it doesn't help that that's all the steakhouse has).
