- This track is based on the spoken-word piece "Phantom 309" by Red Sovine (also see Rabid Child). In Sovine's work, the hitchhiking narrator gets a ride from a truck driver. He finds out later at a truck stop that the driver had died 10 years before.
- Teek and Vee's (now called Quickway Diner ) is an actual restaurant in Bloomingburg, NY just off Highway 17. It has been open since the 1950s.
