This Might Be A Wiki:Last.fm Charts

From This Might Be A Wiki

Last.fm (http://www.last.fm) is a free website/service that records the titles and artist of every song you listen to (via a free download of the Last.fm client), and displays them on your own Last.fm page. The program is currently available for Windows, OS X, Linux and more, and supports iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp, and much more. Sign up here.

TMBW users with Last.fm accounts can put the Last.fm Chart templates on their user page to let others see what they're listening to. There are two types of Last.fm charts implementable on your user page:

[edit] Last.fm Quilt

Now you can use the new Last.fm Quilt flash graphic on your user page. To add it, type:

{{LastfmQuilt|username=Last.fm username|type=albums or artists|color=black, grey, red, or blue|rows=3, 4, or 5}}

Here's what the quilt looks like! (this one is set to albums, blue and 3 rows)

[edit] List image

To add it to your page, type:

{{Lastfm|username=Last.fm username|type=See below, and then put the type of chart you want here|color=black, grey, red, or blue}}

Here's a list of types you can use with your Last.fm chart (only one works at a time):

  • recenttracks - Shows the last six songs you've listened to
  • artists - Shows the six artists you've listened to most in the past week (updates Mondays)
  • tracks - Shows the six songs you've listened to most in the past week (updates Mondays)
  • oartists - Shows your top six most listened to artists
  • otracks - Shows your top six most listened to songs

And here's what the chart looks like when added to your page! (this one is for recent tracks)
