- This was released on an episode of Home Movies (A show that Dan Miller likes.) Four other mini-songs were written for this episode by TMBG: Camp Campingston URGR8, Clean Bean, I'm Just A Note, and Rabbit Troop Sucks. The episode, titled Camp, aired January 11, 2004 on Cartoon Network.
- This version of the song is only used during the credits of the Home Movies episode. Taste The Fame (Home Movies Version) is the one performed by John and John during the episode.
- It appeared as a video on tmbg.com as a bonus from the Venue Songs special.
- Not to be confused with Taste The Bass.
- On TMBG's Free Tunes it is listed as "Taste The Mix," probably because it is a remixed version of the song.
