The Lyrics[edit]

It sounds like "Dutch Masters" to be, instead of "Dutch message"... can anyone verify this?

I've thinking about it lately and giving it several good listens. I agree. --Luke 16:05, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
A little late, but I'd always thought it was "Dutch Message"--ΰΌΊπ„žπ„†β“†β“€β“”β“›βŽˆβ’Ήβ“žβ“œβ“œβ“β“–β“”π„‡ΰΌ» 00:42, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Wait, do you guys really think it sounds like "Dutch"? I am quite certain it's "Old Masters", which I believe is rather a more common term. I don't hear any "d" sounds in the beginning of the word. -Apollo (colloquia!) 18:34, 22 September 2011 (EDT)
FALSE ALARM there are two demos but only one wiki page. -Apollo (colloquia!) 18:41, 22 September 2011 (EDT)

I hear "Blunts / Te amo", not "Love". I actually hear it in the "Old Masters" version too. If I had to choose a most pronounced instance I'd probably point to the first time it's sung in the poorer-quality but less busy "Old Masters" version. You can hear the cluster-yness of the consonants "b-l" in "blunts" kind of echo out. ~ magbatz 22:22, 17 March 2015 (EDT)

I can definitely hear that! Probably makes more sense too, what with the cigar brand and "getting stoned in Central Park". ~ veggieman 11:15, 18 March 2015 (EDT)
Yeah, I'm pretty sure "Dutch Masters" refers to using cigars to roll really fat joints or "blunts". My guess is it changed to "old masters" because Flans felt weird about the explict drug ref? (This might just be me, but it seems that in the #2 version, he goes between "Blunts" and "Love"?) - Rev. Syung Myung Me (talk) 22:14, 23 October 2015 (EDT)

This version of the song always reminded me of the music in Anime cartoons or Sailor Moon or something. -jordan
