2/29/04. Mr. Twin, I am not so sure Toddler Hiway and She's An Angel belong on this list. The Close 'N' Play was a type of children's record player that only worked when the lid was closed -- hence the name. It's a trademarked term, like Advil or Cadillac. As for the Shriners, I am not sure exactly what they do but they're definitely a group. They're like the Elks or the Masons. They're very big in Florida and you would not want to get on their bad side by saying they don't exist. You may want to think about removing these songs -- just my $0.02.
03/01/04 If you've ever been to a parade, the Shriners are the group of guys wearing funny hats and driving around in go karts. They also operate a network of specialized hospitals that treat children with orthopaedic problems, burns and spinal cord injuries, up to their 18th birthday, free of charge. 03/05/04. Well, thank you for informing me. My mistake. I didn't know. I hope the Shriners aren't out to get me now. --My Evil Twin's Twin
6/15/04. Should Wicked Little Critta be here? All "critta" is, is a misspelling of "critter". Spelling it like it's pronounced in the song. It's not really nonsense and nothing else in the song is.
6/15/04. I'm not entirely sure that Mosh Momken Abadan belongs here. It seems to me that since it an Egyptian pop song, we should seek a translator. After all, the word "Abadan" seems like it might be derived from the Hebrew "Abaddon," which means destruction (hence the English Standard Version of the Bible uses the phrase "Sheol and Abaddon" to say "death and destruction" in Proverbs 15:11). Just give the song a chance, that's all I'm asking. Aurora Hawthorne
6/26/04. If it's alright with you, I think I'll leave it on the page, until we know the exact translation. Then I'll be happy to take it off. --My Evil Twin's Twin
6/26/04. Well, I wasn't saying we should just take it for granted that they're real words. If I wasn't clear enough, I'm sorry for that. Am I really that hard to understand? I guess I only really try when I'm doing some serious writing that I will be mocked for if it's not perfect (and that's quite a lot of the time, if you'll believe me). Aurora Hawthorne
