Run time[edit]

Um, I thought Nevada's run time was somewhere around eight minutes. And what does the song have to with "an acorn of a squirrel" and some other things that song theme pages have been telling me? - extrafacelol 21:07, November 28, 2005

It's brilliant! Perspixx 04:17, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

How is this the all-time lowest-ranked TMBG song? It has so much charm! ~ magbatz 18:28, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

The Whole Thing[edit]

Heh. How many of y'all listen to the whole song every time? After a couple of minutes of the marching band I lose interest...but just for 'yuks' I will occasionally let it play through. --MisterMe 22:51, 13 March 2013 (EDT)

I only listen to the whole thing when I listen to the whole album, when it creates a nice conclusion in my opinion. When I listen to my TMBG songs on shuffle though, I tend to skip it after Linnell stops singing.--MidoFS (talk) 12:41, 7 March 2019 (EST)
I can barely tolerate the whole thing even after listening to the entire album. It's so totally indulgent. --MisterMe (talk) 11:16, 14 November 2019 (EST)

I wonder what the high-pitched squeak at 4:21 is... --ColorOfInfinity (talk) 22:45, 13 November 2019 (EST)

Given the collection of noises happening all over the end of this track, it's hard to know. Could be a car brake reacting violently, or a bicycle squealing to a sudden stop, or maybe even a train screeching over a rough section of track. I doubt Linnell himself would remember 20 years later. --MisterMe (talk) 11:16, 14 November 2019 (EST)
