Talk:Moles, Hounds, Bears, Bees And Hares

From This Might Be A Wiki

No discussion yet? I'll start - the word 'innocuous' comes to mind... not their best work, but not necessarily bad. I don't know what to say about this one, it seems like it was written and recorded in ten minutes. Hardcore kids stuff, I suppose. Thoughts? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deysian (talkcontribs) 22:55, September 30, 2015‎

Agreed. (Mr Tuck)
It's no masterpiece, and I don't really dig it myself, but then again I'm not 8 years old. I do, however, get a tiny kick out of "Some call them bunnies - who cares?" I can see Flansburgh arching his eyebrow as he sings that. The Coney Island rabbit puns are amusing. However, those are really the only parts of the song injected with the dose of TMBG whimsy I have come to expect. Alas, they can't all be winners. --MisterMe (talk) 15:53, 1 October 2015 (EDT)

I think I fell asleep listening to this one...

This is such a sweet little song, and it's arrangement is pretty creative actually. It grew on me. I reverse my earlier opinion. -Deysian

A They Might Be Giants Goldwasser Production[edit]

Noticed this was cocredited to Robin in the writing credits for the record. Sonderling (talk) 00:42, 29 November 2015 (EST)

Video[edit]

What a cute video to accompany the sweet song! When the hare gets out a hot dog, you know it's a Coney Island dog. An of course the hare has to ride the legendary Coney Island Wonder Wheel. --Nehushtan (talk) 01:39, 23 April 2021 (EDT)
