Talk:It Never Fails

Is this TMBG doing the music too, some remnant of the band from People are Wrong, or something else?

How do we know Flansy sings this? If he does do it himself, did he use a voice-changer to the two voices and then edit it to make them simultaneous during the chorus? --deathgecko (Evil Emperor of Lizards) 03:35, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

On the podcast they released it on (5A), the Cecil narrator guy announces that coming up is "a new recording from John Flansburgh singing a new Greenberg / Goldwasser composition also only available here on this podcast. Enjoy." As for the voice-changer, I think that's just Mr. Flansburgh's neat ability to do that drawling deep voice and also the whiny-ish high-pitched voice-- he's his own voice changer! ~ magbatz 03:41, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
THe first part about the source, I believe. The stuff about the voice-changer: I doubt it. --deathgecko (Evil Emperor of Lizards)
Er, I just meant that he has a dynamic voice which has a wide range, I don't think he used a real voice changer. Unless you understood me the first time and do think he used some voice-change-y thing. ~ magbatz 02:00, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
Agriggity-greed, (lol!), JF's voice is clearly his own here. He sounds great in both hi and low modes. Look for this phenomenon on Yeh, The Deranged Million Heir and also on Wakeup Call, just to get a little contrast into your life.WhatTheHeckLinnell 01:38, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
