Simon & Schuster

Simon & Schuster is a large English-language publisher, founded in 1924. They published the following books that were written and/or included musical accompaniment by They Might Be Giants:

• The Partly Cloudy Patriot (2003) - By Sarah Vowell, music by TMBG
• Bed, Bed, Bed (2003) - By TMBG, illustrations by Marcel Dzama
• Kids Go! (2009) - By TMBG, illustrations by Pascal Campion

After publishing Bed, Bed, Bed, TMBG also mentioned possible plans for a few future collaborations, one of which was Kids Go!. John Linnell has also stated that the demo of "The Mesopotamians" was originally recorded with the intention of releasing it as a CD single alongside a picture book. However, the project fell through, so the lyrics were modified and the song was instead included on The Else.
