People who have found secret message "Hi":

Okay people. Wait just a moment. If you are on the list because you found this Secret Area from the Recent Changes page, I'm afraid to say you must get off. I don't know which of you found it from there, otherwise I would take you off myself. If you just found it from the Recent Changes page and are just about to put your name on the list, don't put your name on it. But no worries. You can get back on the list when you find the link outside the Recent Changes page. No putting your name on the list until you find the other link! Sorry for the somewhat late information. My mistake. --My Evil Twin's Twin NAT - googled flight of the barking death squirrel

People Who Found The SECRET AREA By Finding The SECRET LINK:

  • Man with an arm - Found it googling "Flight of the Barking Death Squirrels"
  • Ed.
  • magbatz. Was tabbing around.
  • Tgies. I did it all by m'se'f.
  • Professa G. I had the help of a clue
  • TheNintenGenius. To be perfectly honest, it was way too easy for me to find it. I use Opera as my default web browser, and Opera has a habit of underlining every link no matter what. So all I had to do was click on that weird blue line in the middle of the page and I was in!
  • Willness. saw the extra space and highlighted it, just curious. voila.
  • Veloso. MediaWiki makes this downright easy with its "What links here" feature.  ;-) (You're not allowed to do this from now on! --My Evil Twin's Twin)
  • Tom Quinn.
  • zytka. I saw mention of this page on Recent Changes and decided to go looking for the secret link. Found it, whoooooo!
  • IMBIYEAH!
  • Ecks - Firefox underlines that link. Hurrah.
  • Stefan Reed
  • Cody-schmidt SCORE, go secret links!
  • Anna Ng
  • tehbagel - Found by searching for "firefox"
  • — User:ACupOfCoffee@ Ditto to Zytkam except I used the page backlink feature to find the secret link, which I've got to adnit, is pretty easy to spot when you've got alwasy underline links specified in your prefs.
  • James (not a user or anything, just some random dorky girly dude-ish thing). Who me? I'm like just gotten a fan of TMBG and so I found this site and read and clicked links and stuff and since I always highlight the pages I'm reading (old habit. blah.) I was like... oh whee a secret area. :) Rawk on.
  • Valerie I finded it. By highlighting.
  • Fwahobadagadz Alright! Didn't find it on Recent Changes, so I win!

  • Lucretius Woohoo, Firefox rules! XD
  • WhatIsThatThing Firefox.
  • The thing Talk Typed "TMBG Secrets" to Google.
  • Mr knucklehead I stopped being lazy and added my name after seeing it 500+ times in the Misc. Pages section.

People who found the secret page by simply looking under "special pages":

[edit] Natural Habitat of Pseudoaera terces

[edit] (phylum mortis, fam. vociferous)

Sightings of Aera terces, the legendary "Flying Squirrel" of the phylum and family, mortis vociferous ("Barking Death"), have been largely dismissed as evidence of the much more common genus, Pseudoaera, whose primary member has traditionally been sub-classified using the same species name of its more celebrated cousin. This, Folks, though perhaps once correctly labeled Aera terces, is NO LONGER the natural habitat of such noble beast. Note, however, the name of the fine explorer to have first identified the VACANT nest: My Evil Twin's Twin. Once again, you are the first, and once again, fine work, my wiki-type friend. Sadly, it must be conjectured that your subject relocated upon being found.

Questions:

  • 1. What is the "Flying Squirrel?" (If you know, please don't say)
  • 2. Where is "The Flight of the Barking Death Squirell?" (Post comments below)
  • 3. Who thinks they know where and what the Flying Squirrel is?

--Flux

I started this secret area page, and not even I know what the Flying Barking Death Squirrels have to do anything with TMBG or this secret area page. Can someone please help me on this?--My Evil Twin's Twin (5-18-06)

They have nothing to do with TMBG. "The Flight of the Barking Death Squirrels" is a song by one of the bands on this site, infamous for posting their songs (or maybe their fans did it, who really cares) on many filesharing networks under the artist "They Might Be Giants."
It's by the Glandpuppies. That's about all I know. It was one of the tracks on a mix CD titled 'Sugar Addicts' an internet friend of mine made. I still haven't found the entirety of it, though I had it about two years ago. Someone has to give me a time machine already. :( -J2
