Segments[edit]

To the P, to the O, to the D, it's They Might Be Giants podcast, I'm your host Cecil Portesque, the undisputed king...of dead air. From the top, you heard "Impossible", from They Might Be Giants' picture book with Marcel Dzama, "Bed Bed Bed". Then you heard "My Other Car Is A Boom Car" with Mr. Michael Cerveris singing lead vocal. That was from a ringtone project they did. From their original demo, "Cowtown", then "Tres Quatro", piece of incidental music from the Malcolm in the Middle show. Man, it is raining here at the podcast village of They Might Be Giants. Just want to remind everybody that the band is hitting the road in a major, major way this summer and fall and winter. Uh, they're playing almost everywhere, Toronto, London, Boston, Detroit, Cincinnati, Ithaca, New Haven, Asbury Park, Brooklyn, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., everywhere. Or everywhere we can think of. We can't...we gotta get some new maps. Ladies and gentlemen, we want to thank you for podcasting in. We want to remind you that there are four brand-new songs available at iTunes and at tmbg.com. Help the band out. Buy those things, they want you to buy 'em. Here's a song off of some old album, it's called "Unrelated Thing".
