Australia we are almost there!
Special “decades” shows! All shows include Mark “Loveman” Pender on trumpet!

Hey everybody! John Flansburgh here. I am very excited to announce we are just weeks away from our Australian tour! These shows are selling briskly, and it seems possible that all the shows will sell out in advance. We urge you to get your tickets now, especially as we aren’t sure when we will be back! (It's a long bunch of plane flights!) All of the two-night stands are '80s versus '10s, or '90s versus ‘00s. Check your local listings for details. These shows are also all “An Evening With...” which means there is no opener, the show starts early, and we will be doing two sets.

We will be joined on all these shows by the incomparable Mark “Loveman” Pender
(famous for his blistering solo turns on the Conan show and the man responsible for the original high notes on Doctor Worm).

Speaking of Doctor Worm and Australia
a righteous TMBG supporter has started an online campaign to retroactively replace “Pretty Fly for A White Guy” as 1998's song of the year on Double J. To this we say “Right on!”

And for folks unaware, our PERTH show has moved
to a new venue. We are happy to report we will be back at the Rosemount Hotel. For reasons beyond our control and beyond belief, we will not be playing at the Capitol. All tickets for the Capitol show will be honored at the Rosemount.
