SAYING HELLO TO 2019
Hey everybody! John Flansburgh here hoping you are enjoying the new year. It was great rocking a sold-out TLA crowd as well as catching up with Jonathan Coulton on New Year's Eve in Philadelphia, and we are all looking forward to his cruise and our show in San Juan.
AUSTRALIA HERE WE COME.
SPECIAL DECADES SHOWS featuring MARK “LOVEMAN” PENDER

I wanted to remind everybody that our one and only tour of
AUSTRALIA starts at the end of February. All the shows are on sale now, some have already SOLD OUT, and many of the rest are teetering on selling out. If you are in Australia please get your tickets now and avoid disappointment.

A couple of special notes about these shows--many of them are two nighters, so we are keeping things zesty by doing completely different shows. One show is the 80s vs. the 10s, the other is the 90s vs. the 00s. Of course, for encores, anything goes and we will pull from the other decades just to make sure all in attendance are fully sated, but you get the idea. We are sorry to report our pal Curt Ramm won’t be able to make this run, but his notoriously epic trumpet chair will be filled by the incomparable Mark “Loveman” Pender (famous for his blistering solo turns on the Conan show and the man responsible for the original high notes on Doctor Worm). Needless to say, these shows should not be missed!

As always, we rely on you, the official They Might Be Giants street team, to get the word out about these shows. Please talk these shows up on your podcast, radio show, or twitter feed. One easy link for the whole tour is this one: http://bit.ly/TMBG-Shows

FLOOD IS TWENTY NINE YEARS OLD TODAY!

On another note, our major label debut Flood is officially 29 now and finally has health insurance! While it seems like only the week before last we were hunkered down with Clive and Alan eating sandwiches and sweetening the sequences in our Brooklyn apartments, the album has gone on to tremendous things. Of course, it is available on Spotify right here and people love
the t-shirts. There are a couple of traditional styles available and, in honor of the anniversary, we are putting them on sale for 15% off this week with code FLOOD29.

Just to bring everyone up to date with vinyl pre-orders for My Murdered Remains, The Escape Team, and the John Henry Demos, the test pressings are all approved and the vinyl is all out to the overbooked pressing plants, so orders should be getting filled mid to late March. Watch this space. If YOU want in on these new releases either as instant downloads, CDs or on audiophile vinyl go here.
Over the years we’ve worked with a lot of chimps, but the most reliable and best natured of the bunch has been MailChimp. If you need to organize your email stuff, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer or more accommodating chimp than MailChimp. Try their service today. You won’t be sorry!
