VENUE SONGS DUAL DVD/CD COMING SOON
pre-orders for Venue Songs with holiday bundles being taken now.

It won't ship until December (although we will start shipping the moment we get them from the plant), but because this is an Idlewild release and TMBG's store is a cottage-run industry, we need to get a grip on exactly how many we should press. So we are soliciting holiday pre-orders on TMBG's Venue Songs dual disc! It is priced at just $15 plus shipping.

The DVD includes eleven original animated video clips, as well as colorful narration by former literary agent John Hodgman in the role of the Deranged Millionaire. Bonus video material includes Damn Good Times, Bastard Wants to Hit Me, Experimental Film (with Homestarrunner), I'm All You Can Think About and more.

The CD features over an hour of music, with eleven brand-new studio recordings of the Venue Songs plus a number of audio rarities from last year including Renew My Subscription, Love Is Eternity, Tippecanoe and Tyler Too, Taste the Fame and more. And if that's not exciting enough - the CD will also contain all the original Venue Song recordings as well as a set of live recordings from the 2004 tour.

This dual disc will probably be commercially released at a later date, and much of the visual material will eventually be shown on the new TMBG website, but we offer it directly to y'all now as the definitive, fully archival 21st-Century copy of all this fine material in one action-packed item, just in time for the holidays!

Preorder the Venue Songs dual disc now for a special holiday treat for yourself or your friends, and supersize it with all the value-packed bundles at the bottom of this message! All the bundle info is on the site and at the bottom of this email, but if you're already ready to go, this is the DIRECT link: store.yahoo.com/tmbg-catalog/

ROBIN G. HAS A NEW BAND CALLED THE LAST CAR
TMBG vocalist and in-house psychic Robin "Goldie" Goldwasser has a new group called The Last Car. Their professional debut is at Joe's Pub on Saturday Nov. 5th. The Last Car is a three-person vocal harmony group performing haunted songs on a wide variety of topics including, but not limited to, fireflies, car crashes and the vagaries of romance. Band members include, but are not limited to, Chris Anderson (formerly of Muckafurgason), Robin "Goldie" Goldwasser and Amy Miles.
Also on the bill is the excellent band Pinataland. Buying tickets at the box office is the smart way to go, and happens 1-6 every day at 425 Lafayette Street, between East 4th & Astor. Telecharge is more, but easier at 212-239-6200 or on the web at www.telecharge.com.

ATTENTION PHONE PEOPLE: TMBG RING BACK TONES
We at TMBG's home office were recently made aware of this unusual "Ring Back" feature from Verizon where you can download recordings by They Might Be Giants to play for your friends calling you on your cell phone. How you actually do this or how much it costs we can't tell you, but we endorse Bells Are Ringing as appropriate for such a specific function, and Ant just for the effect it is sure to have on the audience of one.
Go to ringbacktones.vzw.com and search for They Might Be Giants.
