Hi Everybody!
Greetings from the Grammy awards! Tonight we're up against Sting and Faith
Hill in the 'Best Song Written For A Motion Picture, Television or Other
Visual Media' category. We're at the kids' table in terms of the televised
event, but our award will be covered on VH-1, so tune in and cross your
fingers!
Wanted to make you all aware that the full-length documentary about They
Might Be Giants, "Gigantic," is premiering at South by Southwest (SxSW) in
Austin, TX. Anyone who came out to the Polish National Home show in Brooklyn
last August might want to scan the footage for their own appearance. Check it
out at the Austin Convention Center on 3/10, 3/12, and 3/16.
We also wanted to remind you that the very cool Flash video for "Cyclops
Rock" is now posted at tmbg.com: http://www.tmbg.com/ECARDS/4.swf.
Also coming up: They Might Be Giants' first children's album, No!, will be
released in May on TMBG's own imprint Idlewild through Rounder. We are also
hitting the road in March starting at the SxSW festival. Tickets for the
Austin show will be tight so we advise anyone interested in coming out for
the film's showing and the show be sure to procure your tickets as soon as
possible.
