Lyrics Talk:Letterbox

From This Might Be A Wiki

Just a curiosity: On the "Orphaned Pages" page, Letterbox's and Absolutely...'s lyrics pages are listed as not having anything linked to them. However, four pages link here (it's interp and download and main and chronology pages), the same as Everything Right Is Wrong Again's. It's a special page, which means it's automated, so that kinda struck me as interesting. Just felt like sharing. ~ magbatz 21:00, 11 May 2006 (CDT)

Just a strangeness, but Special:Uncategorizedpages declares that this page does not have any category, though it definitely belongs to lyrics. Huh. ~ magbatz 15:44, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw that yesterday when I was taking care of some of those other pages. Totally weird. THIS looks like a job for....A SYSOP. --Luke 15:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Hmmm...I don't know why it's doing that. I've tried a few things with no luck either. I've seen weird things like this happen where something just gets "stuck". Maybe i can run a script to rebuild the uncategorized pages list. --Duke33 15:23, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Second verse[edit]

Ok, this is something that's bothered me for awhile, and Ant is backing me up in a conversation right now so I thought would get some further consensus to see if I should change it.

Our lyrics page here (and also the liner notes) list the line in the second verse as "I would have a lot of eyes on me by this time, wouldn't I?", but what I hear is "I would have a lot of eyes on the other side, wouldn't I?" Thoughts? --Self Called Nowhere (talk) 22:12, 7 July 2014 (EDT)

I hear "on the other side" as well, so the lyrics page probably needs to be updated. Curiously, the Problems With Liner Notes theme already exists on the main page, so the only thing that needs to happen now is for the "Letterbox" entry to be added to the theme page. --MisterMe (talk) 22:58, 7 July 2014 (EDT)
definitely do not agree. don't hear "on the other side" at all. pretty certain the lyrics sheet has it right. Apollo (colloquia!) 23:05, 7 July 2014 (EDT)
I agree with Apollo here; it's especially apparent that "on me by this time" is correct if you slow the song down. ~ veggieman 01:27, 8 July 2014 (EDT)
Oy vey. I went back and listened intently to this section over and over again, and I'm gonna have to reverse my original statement. I can definitely hear "on me by this time", though, admittedly, JL sings it so fast it's easy to get a little mixed up. --MisterMe (talk) 08:08, 8 July 2014 (EDT)
