Kim Deitch (born May 21, 1944) is an American cartoonist who was a pioneer of the underground comix movement in the 1960s, and is best known for his character Waldo the Cat, as well as his surreal imagery and storytelling.
In 2005, he collaborated with the animation studio Asterisk to create the animated video for "Dallas", which features Waldo.
